Resistance is a feature film which has vfx provided by our studio boutique ONER Vfx.
One more time we've been called by the director to support his narrative vision through visual effects.
Next to the Art Department, we've designed this period of time based on the world war II context and we've contributed to the narrative of this film. From digital set extensions along urban streets filmed in Praha to train stations with cg locomotives and wagons. From a crowded coliseum with allies soldiers in a camp among war machinery in Nuremberg to cg environments of a winter snowy forest next to a dangerous cliff (also full cg extended). There were also several more invisible digital make-up, digital muzzle flashes, cg fire, signs & flags among other vfx to improve the production value in every scene.
We put all our passion and love on this film which was recognized with the "Voice of Humanity" peace award because of the storytelling subject: Marcel Marceau (before to become famous) rescuing Jew orphans children alongside French resistance.
We're very proud to have been part of it.
